Young Spanish sensation Lamine Yamal has explained how he manages to strike a balance between his schoolwork and football.

Most of us can relate to being under the pressure of school assignments and late submissions and Lamine Yamal, the young Barcelona superstar is no stranger to the same.

At just 16 years old, Lamine Yamal has already made waves in the football world, showcasing his talent on the pitch for Barcelona and earning a spot in Spain's national team for Euro 2024.

But amidst the excitement of playing in one of football's biggest tournaments, Yamal remains grounded, revealing that he's brought his homework with him to Germany.

Yamal's journey to Euro 2024 has been nothing short of remarkable. Making his debut for Barcelona at the age of 15, he quickly became a key player for the Catalan giants.

His impressive performances earned him a call-up to the Spanish national team in September 2023, where he made history by becoming the youngest player to ever feature and score for Barcelona.

Despite his burgeoning football career, Yamal hasn't let his studies fall by the wayside. As he arrives in Germany for Euro 2024, the 16-year-old winger has made sure to bring along his schoolwork.

"I brought my homework here because I'm in the 4th year of ESO," he explained. "I have online classes too and those are going fine. I hope the teacher doesn’t get mad at me."

Yamal's dedication to his education highlights his maturity beyond his years. In Spain, the ESO (Educación Secundaria Obligatoria) is a crucial stage of the education system for students aged 12 to 16.

Despite his demanding football schedule, Yamal is determined to balance his academic responsibilities with his sporting pursuits.

On the football front, Yamal's talent has not gone unnoticed by Spain's head coach, Luis de la Fuente. Speaking about the young sensation, De la Fuente praised Yamal's self-confidence and ability to perform like a seasoned veteran on the pitch.

Yamal is not the only young talent in Spain's squad for Euro 2024. Alongside him are players like Nico Williams, aged 21, and his Barcelona teammate Pau Cubarsi, aged 17.

De la Fuente sees these young players as the future of Spanish football and emphasizes the importance of nurturing their talent while ensuring they contribute to the collective success of the team.

As Spain gears up to face Croatia, Italy, and Albania in Group B of Euro 2024, Yamal's presence adds a youthful vigor to the squad.

With his blend of skill, determination, and academic dedication, Yamal represents the bright future of Spanish football both on and off the pitch.
