Rabiot to miss quarterfinal against Portugal
Rabiot picked up a yellow card in the 1-0 win over Belgium, his second of the tournament, for a tackle on Jeremy Doku.
The decision has left Rabiot disappointed, but he remains confident that his teammates will perform well in his absence.
Speaking to RMC Sport, the 29-year-old said: “I’m disgusted to have taken this yellow. I find that the refereeing at the start of the match was a little limited.
"However, I have confidence in the guys on the bench; I will be behind them.”
Real Madrid midfielder Eduardo Camavinga is expected to replace Rabiot in the lineup.
