Estevao Willian - the next Neymar joins Chelsea
In the 2023/24 season, Willian featured 10 times in the Brazilian Serie A, registering an impressive tally of two goals and two assists.
His ability to deliver on the big stage was further showcased by his goalscoring exploits in the prestigious Copa Libertadores and Copa do Brasil competitions.
But the youngster's impact extends beyond just his club form, as he has also made his mark on the international stage.
Willian has already earned five caps for the Brazil Under-17 team, during which he has found the net on three occasions, further underlining his exceptional talent and potential.
"Chelsea Football Club has agreed a deal to sign teenage forward Estevao Willian from Palmeiras, with the Brazilian to officially join Chelsea next summer," the club announced, in a move that has excited fans of the club.
Estevao’s combination of skilful dribbling and electric pace has caused defences across Brazil plenty of problems, drawing comparisons to the legendary Neymar, who has himself described Willian as a "genius” per a post by Fabrizio Romano.
With his impressive statistical output and the glowing endorsements from some of the game's biggest names, it's clear that Chelsea have secured the services of a true prodigy in Estevao Willian.
