Kapaito played for Ethiopian Premier League side Arba Minch after leaving Kariobangi Sharks last season.
Eric Kapaito believes the experience he gained over his one-year-spell in the Ethiopian Premier League will help him elevate his new club Tusker in their quest to make amends for their near-misses in the cup and league last season.
Kapaito signed for Tusker on a one-year contract after a move to Zambian side Zanaco failed to fully materialize, and believes his exposure will help make a difference to The Brewers.

FOOTBALL Kenyan midfielder's debut goal in Belarus earns Dinamo Brest three crucial points
Lopaga joined the Belarusian side from Oman's Dhofar FC last week.
“I believe it is one of the biggest teams in the country. Playing for a team like this is a blessing and I thank the Lord for it,” Kapaito told the club’s YouTube channel.
“It was not that hard because the structures, ideas and strategies, as well as the structures they have to win the league (are ideal). It therefore was not difficult. When the management approached me, I said it was okay.”
Kapaito left Kariobangi Sharks having won the league’s most valuable player and top scorer awards to join Ethiopian side Arba Minch, were he scored four goals as the club were relegated back to the second tier.
“It was good and a great experience. I believe I learnt alot from that side and I believe it will help me now that I am back home.”
“It has enabled me to know what I need to add that I did not have when I was here (while at Kariobangi Sharks).”
Kapaito insists he does not feel the pressure of joining a club that are expected to challenge and probably win the title this season.
“I am not feeling the pressure. Since I started from the lower leagues, I have been handling myself just well. All the pressure that has come has been positive and helped me grow.
“I take pressure positively whenever it comes and I believe it will build me for a reason.”
Tusker will face Bandari away at the Mbaraki Stadium in their opening match of the 2023/2024 FKFPL game this weekend.
