Enyimba to draw motivation from Akure win
On Sunday, the eight-time Nigerian champions secured what was their seventh win of the season, in 14 games: the third victory on away soil, following the 2-1 defeat of Kwara United in Akure.
A brace from Chijioke Mbaoma: a goal in either half and separated by Samad Kadiri's penalty for the hosts, was enough to see the Elephants take their points haul to 24.
They now sit second in Group A - and four points behind leaders Bendel Insurance.

With 6 wins, 5 draws and 3 defeats, the Uyo club are currently third in Group A and could be one of six teams to play at the Super 6 playoff at the end of the regular season.
Enyimba will not relent, Finidi says
With four matches left till the end of the regular season, the Enyimba boss has stated that playing at home in their next fixture would be a major challenge to winning, although adding that his side will not relent.
"It was a difficult game. I told the players that this game and the next one are vital and we have won this one. So, we will not relent," Finidi said.
"Playing (the next game) at home is another challenge, but the win over Kwara United gives us a moral boost to go and prepare to face Remo."
Enyimba's next opponents Remo Stars are currently fourth in Group A, a point behind the People's Elephants and five behind leaders Insurance.
