Kipkirui, who joined the club from Kenya Police after being deemed surplus to requirements by the law enforcers, is being gradually integrated into the team by Kamau.

Posta Rangers boss John Kamau believes that new signing Eric Kipkirui can help him realize his vision of building a creative team that will help create more chances on a regular basis for his attackers.

Kipkirui, who joined the club from Kenya Police after being deemed surplus to requirements by the law enforcers, is being gradually integrated into the team by Kamau.

“I know what Kipkirui can bring us to the team,” he said, “ remember he did not play at all for Police in the first leg, so I do not expect him to instantly make a difference,” he added.

‘I want to build a creative team and Eric is one very enterprising player, especially in those one v one situations.”

Kipkirui has previously played for Kariobangi Sharks Youth team and Mt. Kenya United. Last season. Since their promotion to the FKF PL in 2021, Kenya Police have gone on a spending spree, signing proven and seasoned players like Clifton Miheso, Francis Kahata and Patillah Omoto, which meant Kipkirui’s playing time had become limited.

Like many other FKF PL sides, Posta Rangers have had problems creating chances for their attackers, on top of being profligate with the few chances created. Kamau will be hopeful Kipkirui will help solve that problem.
