Nigerians have reacted angrily to a decision against the Super Falcons in the FIFAWWC round of 16 clash against England.
The Super Falcons are up against the European champions in one of the games of the round at the Brisbane Stadium in Australia.
Nigeria has looked the better of the two sides, with the Falcons dominant and coming close to the breakthrough.
Penalty against Nigeria
However, against the run of play, England was awarded a penalty by the referee following a foul in the box.
A free kick from the left was floated into the Super Falcons box and Rasheedat Ajibade was penalised for a contact on Daly.
The referee wasted no time in pointing to the spot but was saved her blushes by the VAR who called her attention to it.

After the review, the referee from Honduras rescinded her decision, with Nigeria getting a foul.
Nigerians swiftly reacted to her initial call with many of them demanding for the official to be punished.
