AC Milan has narrowly defeated Real Madrid in a friendly played on Thursday morning at Soldier Field.
Endrick names idols
The young Brazilian player has shared a little more about himself with his fans, including the names of his idols.
During an interview following his move to Real Madrid, Endrick mentioned the players that have inspired him as a footballer.
According to ESPN, when asked who his idols were as a child in an interview, Endrick said, “Cristiano [Ronaldo], Bobby Charlton.”
Ronaldo, who is currently in his later years and plays for Al Nassr, was a standout player for Manchester United for two stints.
Along with other honours, the 39-year-old earned three Premier League titles with the team and five Ballon d'Or awards during his career.
Meanwhile, Sir Bobby Charlton won the 1966 World Cup with England, along with winning the Ballon d'Or as a player.
The icon played most of his career at Manchester United, where he scored 234 goals, the second most of any Red Devils player in the team's history.
The Manchester United icon trails former captain Wayne Rooney, who scored 253 goals, by a narrow margin.
Endrick played in a friendly match against Barcelona, losing 2-1 to their rivals in the first El Clasico of the season.
The Brazilian failed to impress in the game, and goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois has told him to calm down after recent disappointing performances.
