The Angolan native leaves a Uganda Premier League and Uganda Cup winner, having been part of the 2022/23 double-winning side.

Six-time Uganda Premier League champions Vipers SC have confirmed the exit of midfielder Nzau Miguel Lutumba.

Following the expiration of his contract, Lutumba and the Venoms have decided against a renewal.

"The club would like to thank Nzau for his contributions while at St Mary’s Stadium," said the club in a statement.

"He was a consummate professional and always a positive influence both on and off the field, and we wish him the very best in the future."

The Angolan native leaves a Uganda Premier League and Uganda Cup winner, having been part of the 2022/23 double-winning side.

He leaves after garnering 15 appearances, with his debut coming in the Uganda Cup match against Fufa Big League side Jinja North FC.

In the league last season, the 32-year-old featured ten times in the run to the team's sixth championship.

However, Lutumba had yet to make a single league appearance this season.

It should be noted that Vipers have already unveiled midfielder Moses Waiswa Ndhondhi, who will most likely fill any voids left.
