The 27-year-old star sat down on The Overlap with Manchester United legend Gary Neville for a hard-hitting, emotional conversation that left the former Red Devils right-back in tears.
Following an injury that ended his season-long loan with Turkish powerhouse Besiktas, the England international returned to Everton in April.
He also checked himself into a rehab centre in an effort to get himself back on the right path and revive his career.

During an appearance on The Overlap with Gary Neville, he revealed as reported by the Sun, "Now is the right time for me to tell people what's been going on.
"It's tough to talk about because it's something I've hidden for a long time. I'm scared to talk about it.
"When I came back from Turkey I found out I needed an operation. I was in a bad place mentally and I decided to go to a modern-day rehab facility for mental health.

Alli said as reported by the Sun, "Everton were amazing and supported I will be grateful to them forever.
"For them to be so honest and understanding I couldn't ask for anything more during a time when I was making the biggest decision of my life - doing something I was scared to do. I'm happy I've done it."
The England international has thanked Everton for supporting him during his struggle and says he will be forever grateful.
