In two days, the football community in Kenya will turn its eyes to the much-anticipated Football Kenya Federation (FKF) elections.

A total of 92 delegates from across the nation will vote to determine the next leadership of the FKF.

With the incumbent administration on cusp of a major turnaround, this election is more than a procedural exercise—it’s a pivotal moment to chart a new course for Kenyan football.

The delegates, drawn from Kenyan Premier League (KPL) clubs, National Super League (NSL) clubs, Division One clubs, Women’s football representatives, and the Kenya Footballers’ Welfare Association (KEFWA), hold the keys to a brighter future.

They represent diverse interests, from grassroots football to the highest levels of the game, and their choices will shape the destiny of football in Kenya for years to come.

Under the incumbent administration, Kenyan football has faced an unprecedented crises and challenges.

It’s no wonder that this election has sparked a groundswell of hope and expectation. Delegates are under immense pressure to deliver a leadership team that embodies integrity, transparency, and a commitment to football development.

Kenyan Premier League delegates

You represent the country’s flagship league, a critical pillar of our football ecosystem. Your vote must reflect the desire for a professional and competitive league that can produce world-class players and attract global attention.

National Super League delegates

The NSL is the lifeline for many aspiring footballers. Elect leaders who will invest in second-tier football, ensuring that talent is nurtured and opportunities abound for young players.

Division One delegates

As the gateway to professional football, your league deserves leaders who understand its challenges and are committed to providing a clear and fair path to growth.

Women’s teams delegates

Women’s football has been sidelined for far too long. It’s time to vote for leaders who will champion women’s football and ensure gender equity in the sport.

Branch representatives

Grassroots football is the foundation of the sport in Kenya. Your vote must prioritise leaders who will invest in grassroots leagues and foster partnerships with county governments to uplift the game at all levels.

KEFWA president

As the voice of players, your vote carries significant weight. Stand firm for leadership that respects and supports the welfare of players, both current and retired.

Delegates, this is your moment to rise above personal interests and deliver a system that will uplift Kenyan football.

Remember, the eyes of over 50 million Kenyans are on you. Do not let history remember this election as another missed opportunity.

Let your decisions be guided by the collective good of Kenyan football. The future starts with your vote. Don’t let us down.
