And, while he was pleased with the result, URA head coach David Obua was far from satisfied with his side's general performance on the evening.
Four-time Uganda Premier League champions URA FC managed a 3-0 trumping of Mbarara City FC at the Mehta Stadium, Lugazi, to round off their year with a resounding victory.
Norman Namanya, Ivan Ahimbisibwe and Moses Aliro were on the score-sheet for the Tax Collectors on Friday against the Ankole Lions.
And, while he was pleased with the result, URA head coach David Obua was far from satisfied with his side's general performance on the evening.
"We played so slow; started well but went down," the Uganda Cranes legend said in his post-match interview.

FOOTBALL Vipers captain Milton Karisa confident team will bounce back to winning ways
But skipper Milton Karisa insists the team can find their grit back in the remaining fixtures before the curtains draw on the first round.
"The victory is important because it gives us more confidence, more belief and more faith going into the next game. I wanted the ball to move faster, which it didn't, but we got the results," he added.
Obua was then all praises for youngsters Godfrey Ssekibengo and John Innocent Kisolo for their brilliant shifts.
"I had confidence in the kids and knew they would play. Let's build these players with the senior players and continue building a team of collective effort."
He then showered winger Ibrahim Dada in similar praise for an impressive cameo, setting up two goals in less than ten minutes.
"I love Dada because he doesn't complain. You bring him as a left-back or right-back he'll play," Obua said.
