The CS paid a surprise visit to the Harambee Stars players on Thursday.
Sports Cabinet Secretary Ababu Namwamba has pledged that the Government will continue to support the national men's football team, the Harambee Stars.
Namwamba made his assurance during a surprise visit to the team training session at Nyayo National Stadium on Thursday.

FOOTBALL Harambee Stars hit camp ahead of Mauritius Four Nations Tournament
Local-based players will be the first to report to residential camp with the foreign-based legion set to join them later on.
The CS vowed that the government would fully support the team for the upcoming friendly matches as well as CAF and FIFA assignments.
"We want to make sure that we offer the support necessary for you to perform well in international assignments. The Federation has given us a program of the preparations and we want you to be as ready as possible when the qualifiers start," said the CS as he addressed the players.
"I wish you all the best. I know you are preparing to leave for Mauritius as part of your preparations. I will be cheering you from Nairobi, please win your games," he concluded.

Engin Firat's charges are set to leave for Mauritius on Saturday, June 10, 2023, in a round-robin mini-tournament.
The tournament comes after the Stars faced Iran in another friendly match during the last international window in March.
Harambee Stars Stars will start the tournament with a duel against Djibouti on June 12, play Pakistan two days later, and finish off against hosts Mauritius on June 18.
