Liverpool fans will be joyous as they watch Chelsea get a taste of their own medicine from Crystal Palace who have trolled them for being rejected by Michael Olise
Chelsea got a taste of their own medicine after Premier League minnows Crystal Palace threw shade their way after Eagles winger Michael Olise rejected a move to the Blues to extend his stay at Selhurst Park.
Chelsea lose out on Olise
The Blues had reportedly activated Olise’s release clause believed to be worth £35 million, and had also reportedly reached a personal agreement with the 21-year-old.
However, the forward made a U-turn and signed a new contract with the Eagles, effectively rejecting a move to Chelsea.
The London-born France international dealt Chelsea a double blow by extending his deal with Crystal Palace for four more years until 2027 and also removing the paltry release clause that went with his former contract.

Crystal Palace troll Chelsea over Olise contract extension
This means the Blues will have to dance to Crystal Palace’s tune if they decide to move for Olise in the future and will be required to pay well in excess of the previously agreed £35m.
The Eagles recognised their victory over Chelsea while announcing Olise’s new contract, mocking the Blues with a tweet that read, “Michael Olise runs down the wing for me.”
Many fans joined Crystal Palace in mocking Chelsea over the failed transfer as payback after the Blues revelled in snatching Moises Caicedo and Romeo Lavia from Liverpool in recent days.
Chelsea fans fought valiantly in the quotes for their club’s honour, but were only able to salvage as much dignity as they afforded Liverpool after news of the Caicedo and Lavia deals when they branded them “Rejected FC.”
