Akiror is the Crested Cranes' former captain, a position held now by goalkeeper Ruth Aturo.
Crested Cranes midfielder Tracy Jones Akiror has graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management from Lindsey Wilson College in the United States of America.
The Ugandan female player who plies her trade with AFC Ann Arbor in the States confirmed the above development on her social media platforms on Sunday morning.
"It is done and dusted. It has been God through it all. Today I have acquired my Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management from Lindsey Wilson College," Akiror posted.
"The journey has not been easy, but I am grateful for all the challenges that made it a reality."
She added: "Significant appreciation to everyone who supported and stood by me to realise such a significant achievement and for this dream."
In Uganda, the 25-year-old played for Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC until 2019 before she left for America to continue her football career and studies.
She has been in the set-up of Uganda's female national teams, especially the U20 and the senior team.
Akiror is the Crested Cranes' former captain, a position held now by goalkeeper Ruth Aturo.
She represented Uganda at the 2014 African U-20 World Cup qualifying tournament and played at the COSAFA Women's Championship in South Africa in 2018.
Akiro was part of the Crested Cranes at the 2022 Women's Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.
