Harry Kane and Eric Dier will be returning to North London for the first time in Bayern Colours.

As Tottenham Hotspur gears up for their final pre-season fixture, they face a formidable test against Bayern Munich once again at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday.

The match scheduled for 7.30pm EAT is set to be a thrilling encounter, with both teams looking to fine-tune their preparations ahead of the new season.

In their last meeting, Bayern Munich secured a narrow 2-1 victory over Tottenham Hotspur in Seoul.

Spurs, buoyed by a strong pre-season run, were left to rue a mix-up between goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario and defender Djed Spence, which allowed Gabriel Vidovic to open the scoring early on.

Leon Goretzka added a second for Bayern before Pedro Porro pulled one back for Spurs with a stunning long-range effort.

Despite a valiant effort, Tottenham couldn't find an equalizer, leaving them with their first defeat of the summer.

Tottenham Hotspur will continue to miss the services of striker Richarlison and left-back Destiny Udogie, who are still recovering from calf and thigh injuries, respectively.

Young centre-back Ashley Phillips is also doubtful with an unspecified issue. However, Spurs have received a boost with the return of Cristian Romero, Micky Van de Ven, Rodrigo Bentancur, and Giovani Lo Celso to training.

Their inclusion could provide a significant boost for Tottenham as they seek to end their pre-season on a high.

For Bayern Munich, the game will be particularly notable as former Spurs stars Harry Kane and Eric Dier return to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium for the first time in Bayern colors.

Kane, who scored against Spurs in the last friendly, and Dier, will be presented with commemorative gifts by Spurs ambassador Ledley King before the match.

Both players are expected to feature, with Kane likely to lead the attack and Dier partnering with Min-jae Kim in central defense.

Jamal Musiala's participation remains uncertain as he continues to regain fitness after his Euro 2024 campaign.
