AC Milan got their first win of the season against newly promoted side Venezia, thrashing them at the San Siro.
Samuel Chukuweze was left on the bench despite his impressive outing with the Super Eagles during the international break.
The winger played in a goalless draw against Rwanda and helped the Super Eagles defeat the Benin Republic 3-0.
However, he failed to make the first eleven but came in as a substitute in AC Milan's 4-0 thrashing of Venezia.

AC Milan manager Paulo Fonseca made four changes to his team that played a 2-2 draw against Lazio before the international break.
Super Eagles star Samuel Chukuweze failed to make the starting lineup as he was left on the bench despite starting in their last game.
The home team started the game as quickly as they could and made their first shot on target count.
Rafael Leao squared the nice ball to Theo Hernandez, who beat Jesse Joronen with a brilliant shot into the bottom left corner.
Venezia were unable to withstand the pressure from the AC Milan attack and conceded the second goal a few minutes later.
Christian Pulisic produced a cross from a corner to find Matteo Gabbia inside the box, who struck the ball into the top of the net.
AC Milan had the chance to make it three after Jesse Joronen was penalised for knocking down an opponent.
Christian Pulisic stood in front of the ball and drove a strike low into the right of the net, giving the goalkeeper no chance.
Fonseca’s side got another penalty after Raphael Leao was brought down in the box. Tammy Abraham ran up to take the spot kick and slotted the penalty into the bottom corner.
Milan went into the halftime break with a comfortable 4-0 lead over Venezia, with the away team looking clueless.
Venezia improved their performance in the second half and got a goal for themselves but was ruled out by the VAR for a foul in the buildup.
Things got complicated for the away side as Hans Nicolussi Caviglia received his second yellow card of the match and was sent off by the referee.
Fonseca maintained their composure until the final whistle and kept a clean sheet in their first win of the season.
