However, Chelsea will hope to put all of that memories behind them when they welcome Switzerland side Servette to Stamford Bridge on Thursday, August 22nd for a tie that decides who advances to the Europa Conference League proper.

Servette also participated in all the European Competitions last season, crashing out of the Champions League in the playoffs, they exited the Europa League in the group stages, but made the Round of 16 in the Conference League.
The Geneva-based club also crashed out of this season’s Europa League, losing 1-2 at home to SC Braga in the second leg, after the first leg ended goalless.
However, coach Raphaël Wicky’s side has won three and lost two of their opening five games in the Super League.
