Chelsea put up a spirited performance against Newcastle as they came back from a goal down to salvage a point in a 1-1 draw at Stamford Bridge.
PSG have confirmed that the club's goalkeeper Sergio Rico was involved in an accident while riding a horse in Spain.
How it happened
Newcastle started on the front foot and got themselves in front through Anthony Gordon after just 10 minutes as Chelsea's defence stood still and allowed the 20-year-old to tap home.
Despite Newcastle’s dominance for the first quarter of the fixture, it was Chelsea who equalised when Raheem Sterling drove into the Magpies defence and crossed only for Kieran Trippier to bundle the ball into his own net.
After an impressive first half, Noni Madueke had the opening chance of the second period, but could only see his strike fail to hit the target.
In the end, both sides settled for a point and Frank Lampard would be delighted to leave the Chelsea dugout by avoiding defeat.
Newcastle on the other hand will prepare for the sweet taste of Champions League football next season.
