Osimhen misses Napoli's first official match as club director confirms Nigerian's transfer request
The Partenopei remain determined to sell Victor Osimhen this season and have excluded him from their team amidst the Super Eagles star's transfer request
The Super Eagles star's impressive performances for Napoli helped the team win a Serie A title last season. This feat has made him a highly sought after asset in the transfer market.
Chelsea, under new ownership, have shown a willingness to spend big on top talent, and Osimhen fits the profile of the player they are looking to acquire.
However, it's important to note that the agent's presence at Stamford Bridge could be due to various reasons, and a deal is not imminent at this stage.
Why Napoli struggle to sell Osimhen

Victor Osimhen: Italian expert explains why Napoli are finding it difficult to sell Super Eagles star
Enrico Varriale, an Italian journalist, has disclosed the cause of Napoli's inability to sell star striker Victor Osimhen during the current transfer season.
Varriale said on Radio Kiss Kiss, via Siamo Il Napoli, "Napoli is having some problems with the Osimhen affair, I thought it was guaranteed by the clause and that maybe there was already a team ready to pay it.
"The real problem is not that Osimhen has played a season below par, but that some big leagues are in financial difficulty.
"Prices have dropped, while last year PSG spent 90 for Kolo Muani and 80 for Ramos. The real problem is that there is less money in circulation."
Osimhen stays at Napoli before the Serie A season begins because none of his potential suitors are ready to trigger his €130 million release clause.
