Chelsea announced that they and the Argentine manager had agreed to part ways, following a tumultuous 11 months at Stamford Bridge, culminating in a sixth-placed finish in the Premier League.
Pochettino was subject to an internal review following the final game of the season, and after intense talks, the 52-year-old was dismissed.
Pochettino was well-liked around the club, with several players highlighting his man-management skills and excellent personality. A few of them took to social media to express their disappointment at the decision.

Nicolas Jackson led the tributes with two posts, thanking Pochettino for their time together and wishing he didn't have to leave.
Moises Caicedo also posted on social media, highlighting his sadness and praising Pochettino's personality.
Additionally, other players such as Premier League Young Player of the Season Cole Palmer, Noni Madueke, Carney Chukwuemeka, and Mykhailo Mudryk, who Pochettino reportedly spent time with to boost the winger's confidence, also expressed their gratitude to the manager by sharing tributes.
