Former Chelsea defender John Terry has slammed Chelsea for letting manager Mauricio Pochettino leave the club.
The Argentine spent the previous two days in closed negotiations with the club's disgruntled management before leaving by "mutual consent" after just one season in command.
Chelsea undertook a five-game winning streak towards the close of the season under Pochettino, which guaranteed them a sixth-place finish and a spot in Europe the following year.
However, Chelsea was unable to achieve their aim of qualifying for the Champions League, and the 52-year-old's contract was terminated with one year remaining.

Terry speaks on Pochettino’s departure
Chelsea great Terry expressed his sadness about Pochettino's exit and cautioned the team on what they should not do until a replacement is found.
Terry expressed his sadness in his Instagram account, saying he was heartbroken to see Pochettino, the Argentine's son Sebastiano (a fitness coach), and his assistant Jesus Perez depart Stamford Bridge.
According to reports from Daily Mail, he said, “I just hope we don't sign or sell any players until we get a manager in.”
According to reports, the Blues are currently searching for a "young, progressive" head coach to replace Pochettino.
Under Todd Boehly, the Blues have spent almost £1 billion, with very little immediate return on investment.
In the summer transfer window, the Blues brought in 12 players and let go of 28 during Pochettino's first transfer window in charge of the team.
Following a disappointing first half of the season, Chelsea under manager Mauricio Conte appeared to be headed for a similar position in the standings this season after finishing 12th the previous year.
However, in the second half of the season, Chelsea was outscored in the league only by Manchester City, Arsenal, and Liverpool.
