Chelsea's new interim manager, Frank Lampard has spoken glowingly about Mason Mount and revealed he is looking forward to watching him perform.
Frank Lampard has made a sensational return to Chelsea two years after leaving the club following a disappointing spell.
Lampard appointed as Chelsea interim boss
He will take charge of the Blues until the end of the season after former manager Graham Potter was relieved of his duties on Sunday.
The main priority for Chelsea at this moment is avoiding a disastrous end to the season and somehow navigating a difficult UEFA Champions League quarter-final against Real Madrid.
For Chelsea to achieve that, they need their best players firing and one of those key players is Mason Mount.

Mount was a firm favourite of Lampard’s during his first spell in charge, and during their time together at Derby, but the England man has fallen out of favour in recent times.
Lampard remains a huge fan of Mount and looks forward to discussing with the midfielder in order to find a solution to his stuttering form.
"Mason has always been a fantastic player for me, from my days at Derby to when I came back to Chelsea," Lampard told a press conference on Thursday.
"Of course, we have a good relationship so we’ll talk a lot, I think he’s a huge player for Chelsea and has been in his time here and I look forward to watching him perform"
Tough weeks ahead for Lampard
Chelsea are next in action against Wolves at the Molineux in what would be Lampard's first game as interim boss and a positive result will lift the mood around Chelsea going into the Champions League double-header with Real Madrid.
