Chelsea continue to splash cash this summer transfer window and are about to agree a deal for an exciting winger from Wolves.

Chelsea are on the verge of completing the signing of Wolverhampton Wanderers winger Pedro Neto.

The Portuguese international has been a subject of interest for several top clubs, including Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur, but Chelsea have emerged as the frontrunners in securing his signature.

Reports indicate that negotiations between Chelsea and Wolves are at an advanced stage, with a deal expected to be finalised soon.

Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano and Fabrice Hawkins have confirmed that both clubs have agreed on a fee of €60 million (£51.4 million) plus an additional €3 million (£2.5 million) in performance-related add-ons.

This fee places Neto among the more high-profile transfers of the summer.

Chelsea’s swift move for Neto comes as a surprise given the winger’s recent links to other Premier League giants.

Wolves manager Gary O’Neil had previously hinted at a willingness to let Neto leave if the right offer came along, and it seems Chelsea’s proposal was too attractive to turn down.

In addition to agreeing on the transfer fee, Chelsea have reportedly finalised the contract terms with Neto.

According to Romano, salary negotiations went smoothly, with the club and player reaching a consensus without any significant hurdles.

This is expected to be Chelsea's ninth signing of the summer, further bolstering their attacking options for the upcoming season.

Neto's potential arrival at Stamford Bridge is poised to add considerable flair and dynamism to Chelsea’s squad.

Known for his pace, dribbling, and creativity, Neto could be the key to unlocking defences and providing valuable support to Chelsea's forward line.

Chelsea fans will be eagerly awaiting the official announcement of Neto’s signing and the potential impact he will have on their campaign.
