Onduparaka, Paidha Black Angels and proline are the three teams who featured in the final while playing in the FUFA Big League.
Police FC can become only the second FUFA Big League side to win the country’s second-most valuable football trophy if they beat Vipers on Saturday in Lira to win the 2022/23 Stanbic Uganda Cup.
Onduparaka FC was the first team from the second division to break the tradition and reach the final of the Cup when they shocked UPL clubs in their famous green wave in the 2015/16 season.
The Caterpillars went on but lost 3-1 to Vipers in a season that the Venoms narrowly lost the league title to KCCA with a chance to win a double presenting itself.
