Kenya Police will face Egyptian giants Zamalek in the next round of the CAF Confederation Cup following their win over Ethiopian Coffee on Sunday.

Kenya Police have set up a clash with Egyptian giants Zamalek after edging out Ethiopian COFFEE 1-0 in their CAF Confederation Cup encounter on Sunday.

Police settled the nerves early when Toha Rashid Freedom gave them a first half lead which they held on to progress to the second preliminary round where Zamalek await.

The Kenyan side put up a great defensive display in the away clash, restricting their rivals from the goal, and reaped the benefits.

Both teams had played out a goalless draw in the first leg which gave either side an opportunity to capitalise in the return leg and it is the law enforcers who walked away with the victory.

The decisive goal arrived in the 25th minute when Freedom rose highest to head home from a long throw into the box.

Police will now face Zamalek in the next round, the first leg being played in Nairobi on September 13 before the return match in Egypt seven days later.
