The former Nairobi City Stars midfielder missed the matchday squad for Gallants.
Kenyan midfielder Sven Yidah was once again left out of the Marumo Gallants squad that faced Pyramids on Sunday in the first leg of the 2022/2023 CAF Confederation Cup quarterfinals.
Yidah’s career progression at the South African club has gone from bad to worse as the former Nairobi City Stars player seems to have failed to adopt Bahlabane Ba Ntwa playing system.
The midfielder has failed to make in Raymond Mdaka plans as plenty of central midfield options are available with the likes of Celimpilo Ngema,Letsie Koapeng and William Nku.
Gallants took the lead in the 55th minute courtesy of Ranga Chavaviro but Pyramids found an equalizer in the 90th minute after a handball by second-half substitute Sibusiso Kumalo, which Ramadan Sobhi converted.
Neither of the two teams could get the winning goal at injury time in a match that witnessed fewer chances, especially in the second half.
