Gaddafi has endured a rough patch of the recent failure to win a game in the Startimes Uganda Premier League since the year began.
We’ve prepared well because the team wants to get back to winning ways after going several games without a win
“We’ve prepared well because the team wants to get back to winning ways after going several games without a win,” Gaddafi’s Wasswa Bbosa said ahead of the game.
Gaddafi sit 9th on the table with 24 points, six ahead of their Kakindu rivals, who are 12th.
Purple patch
On the other side, Busoga United will be looking to bounce back after losing 1-0 to SC Villa in a match that saw them return to their sacred home at Kakindu after months in Njeru.
Busoga stepped up their fight for survival, winning three consecutive games against Blacks Power in Lira, UPDF in Njeru and away to URA in Lugazi to move three points clear of relegation.
Their day’s host, nicknamed The Soldier Boys, will want to pick up from their goalless draw at BUL last week in Njeru to break back into the top eight.
