Nakuru City Queens lay in wait on Sunday, March 5 at the Alaskan Grounds.

Bunyore Starlets FC chairman Moses Mabwa has revealed the club's intent to reinforce the midfield ahead of upcoming league matches.

The Starlets have played 10 matches so far which have seen them win four and draw in four. They have lost two of the matches and Mabwa strongly believes that if they work on their midfield, they can post better results in their next matches.

They are placed sixth on the table with 16 points, just six adrift of league leaders Vihiga Queens.

With the transfer window already flung open, Mabwa wants to maximize on the opportunity to get quality players on board.

“We want to fortify our midfield and maybe add one striker. With this accomplished, we can confidently push for the league title,” Mabwa said.

He revealed that they had already finalized the deal with Deborah Omung’ala and have eyes set on five other players whom he said he will reveal after the deals are closed.

They face Nakuru City Queens on Sunday, March 5 at the Alaskan Grounds. The City Queens are a tough opponent but Mabwa is not shaken.

“The girls are always ready,” he bullishly said.

The City Queens are fifth on the table with 17 points from 10 matches too. They have won five matches, drew two and lost three of their matches.
