However, they will have to dig deep as they are currently enduring a dip in form, winning just once in the last five league games.

Keen on pushing further their unbeaten home record this season, Uganda Premier League runners-up BUL FC will battle UPDF FC at the FUFA Technical Centre on Tuesday.

Since April last year, the Eastern Giants haven't tasted league defeat in their backyard, winning six and drawing five in 11 games.

Victory on the evening will have BUL head back to the top of the table with 42 points, two ahead of Kitara.

However, they will have to dig deep as they are currently enduring a dip in form, winning just once in the last five league games.

BUL also lost the reverse fixture 2-0 courtesy of Benard Muwanga and Sam Kintu last November, but they're geared up to master revenge.

"After losing to UPDF in November, we composed ourselves and here we are, second in the table and well equipped to protect our unbeaten home record and also pocket all the three points," said midfielder Ibrahim Kazindula to the club media.

"The players are just in the best conditions and excited to play this match. We can’t wait to return to winning ways tomorrow.”

On the other hand, UPDF recently won 2-0 against Busoga United after a dismal 12  outings without a win.

As a result of three wins and four draws in 20 matches this campaign, they have collected 13 points, five off the last safety place.
