BUL FC goalkeeper Saidi Keni has agreed terms with Ethiopian club Shashemene City.
The Uganda Cup winning goalkeeper in the 2021/22 season has reportedly left for the Horn of Africa nation to finalise the deal.
Founded in 1993, Shashemene City will play in the Ethiopian Premier League, the top level of professional football in Ethiopia after earning promotion last season.
Keni joins former Uganda Revenue Authority Football Club captain Nafian Alionzi as the second Ugandan goalkeeper to move to the Ethiopian league in the summer transfer window.
The league has previously attracted Uganda's top goalkeeping talents, including Denis Onyango, Robert Odongkara, Charles Lukwago and Posnet Omwony.
Keni has featured for local clubs SC Villa and Proline FC before joining BUL FC.
The Busoga-based club enjoys a good relationship with Ethiopian football markets.
