Chelsea legend John Terry has showered praise on one of Nigeria's finest ever footallers, claiming he can still shine in the Premier League.
John Terry has made a surprising claim about one of his former team-mates, saying they could still fit into any Premier League side despite retiring back in 2022.
The player in question is a midfielder who spent 11 years alongside Terry at Stamford Bridge, winning numerous honors including the Champions League.
Terry was full of praise for his former team-mate, John Obi Mikel, in an interview with talkSport on Wednesday.

Terry believes that players like Mikel, who excelled in a holding midfield role, often go unappreciated.
'Those holding midfielders like Makelele get recognised and there's certain players in that role that don't get the credit they deserve. And Obi was one of them."
The duo shared many memorable moments on the pitch, featuring in 266 games together.
