FOOTBALL Brian Aheebwa set to find new home

He has been a free agent after being released by KCCA, over a fortnight ago, following the expiry of his contract.

Former KCCA FC forward Brian Aheebwa has all but sealed a move to newly promoted Uganda Premier League side, Kitara FC.

According to the Sports Nation, Aheebwa has sealed the deal, and it's only a matter of time before the official unveiling

He has been a free agent after being released by KCCA, over a fortnight ago, following the expiry of his contract.

Aheebwa joined the Kasasiro Boys from Mbarara City in 2020 but failed to cement down a consistent starting place.

At the FUFA Big League champions, Aheebwa will link up with his former Coach Brian Ssenyondo with whom he worked at Mbarara City over years back.

He is set to become the ninth signing for the club following the arrivals of Chrispus Kusiima from Gadaffi FC, Frank ‘Zaga’ Tumwesigye from Vipers and Jude Ssemugabi from Mbarara City.

Kitara has also netted dwon Ibrahim Magandaazi, Luwalo Kipper, Sabir Yasin and Shafiq Magogo from UPDF FC.
