English Premier League defending champions Manchester City are progressing towards an agreement with Eintracht Frankfurt for forward Omar Marmoush.
According to the Daily Mail, the Egypt international is eager for the move to go through after the former Champions League winners ramped up their interest in December. It has been revealed that Frankfurt are reluctant sellers, particularly in the winter window, and had hoped to keep hold of the 25-year old who has scored 18 goals in 24 appearances this season.

Manchester City's 2-0 loss to Liverpool on Sunday marked a fourth consecutive league defeat for the defending champions.
City's leaky defense and a porous midfield have been targeted by opposition as the team's weaknesses were exposed. They want to add another midfielder and a centre back with talks having taken place over Lens' £35m-rated Uzbekistan international Abdukodir Khusanov, 20, and 18-year old Juma Bah of AIK Freetong.
It is understood informal talks with Frankfurt are continuing and are expected to reach an agreement over the coming days.
