English Premier League defending champions Manchester City are progressing towards an agreement with Eintracht Frankfurt for forward Omar Marmoush.
According to the Daily Mail, the Egypt international is eager for the move to go through after the former Champions League winners ramped up their interest in December. It has been revealed that Frankfurt are reluctant sellers, particularly in the winter window, and had hoped to keep hold of the 25-year old who has scored 18 goals in 24 appearances this season.

Manchester City's 2-0 loss to Liverpool on Sunday marked a fourth consecutive league defeat for the defending champions.
