Phil Foden scored the only goal of the game as Manchester City secured a vital 1-0 win over Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium.
Man City keep pressure on Liverpool with latest win
City have been behind in their last six away league games before today but took the lead through Phil Foden.
The goal marked Foden's fourth goal in four games against Bournemouth, tapping in after Neto could only parry Erling Haaland’s shot.
Despite creating a few chances, the hosts could not capitalise.
Bournemouth's late attempts, including a header from Enes Ünal, were off target and Pep Guardiola's men held on for a vital win.
The defeat extends Bournemouth's winless league run to seven games, while City moves back within one point of Premier League leaders Liverpool.
