AFC Leopards defender Robert Mudenyu is set to leave after the expiration of his contract.
Mudenyu's contract is understood to have expired last Friday, and the club is not ready to tie him to a new deal. The centre-back was signed from Sony Sugar after the 2019 season, after an impressive season with the Awendo-based club.
At the Den, he struggled with a knee injury that at one time saw him miss over 10 matches for AFC Leopards, and that led to speculation he could have left the former Premier League champions.

Owing to a transfer ban, Ingwe were previously not allowed to register new players.
However, he fought the injury and recovered, and the departure of Soter Kayumba saw him earn more regular starts than before. At one time, he had to face stiff competition from both Clyde Senaji and Collins Sichenje, but they too left, and this opened a new door for Mudenyu to re-enter the team and become a regular starter.
