Kenya are missing as CAF is set to conduct the draw for the qualifiers of the Women's Olympic Football Tournament (WOFT).
Tanzania and Uganda have confirmed their participation and will know their qualifying rivals when the draw is conducted on May 30 in Cairo.
Apart from the East African nations, other countries that will take part in the qualifiers include Benin, Botswana, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Chad, Congo, RD Congo, Ivory Coast, Equatorial Guinea.
Ethiopia, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea Bissau, Mali, Morocco, Mozambique, Namibia, Nigeria, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, South Africa, Tunisia, and Zambia complete the list of the participants.
The qualifiers will be in a home/away format, with a total of four rounds of qualifiers. The first round will be composed of 18 teams, and the seven highest-ranked teams in the last Women’s Africa Cup of Nations will be exempt.
South Africa, Morocco, Zambia, Nigeria, Cameroon, Tunisia, and Botswana are the seven highest-ranked nations.
In the second round, the nine qualified teams from the first round, in addition to the seven (7) exempted teams, will play. Eight teams will qualify for the third round.

Several CAF nations have also lined up friendlies that will keep them busy during the international break.
In the third round, the eight teams that qualified will play in the third round, qualifying four teams for the fourth round.
Finally, in the fourth round, the four qualified teams will play to qualify two teams for the Women's Olympic Games.
