The No Limits academy boys were too hot for their senior team to handle in the quarterfinal of the Ogun State FA Cup.
Adnan Kabiru was the hero of the day as Beyond Limits FA made FA Cup history in Ogun State on Tuesday.
Kabiru netted the decisive winner as Beyond Limits came from behind to beat their seniors Remo Stars 3-2 in the State FA Cup quarterfinal.
Haruna Hadi opened the scoring for Remo before Beyond Limits leveled the scores from the spot at the break.
Samuel Anakwe restored Remo's lead 10 minutes into the second half, but the goal lasted just two minutes as Farouq Ogundare drew TCC champions Beyond Limits level for the second time.
With 20 minutes to play, Kabiru netted an excellent winner to complete the comeback for the Remo juniors.
Beyond Limits make FA Cup history
It was an interesting and lively match between the parent club, Remo, and their feeders, the Beyond Limits in the Ogun FA Cup last eight.
An excellent second half display from the academy lads earned them a famous win over their senior colleague as they sealed a first-ever appearance in the semifinal.
The second 45 minutes started as the first, which ended 1-1, with NPFL side, Remo on the front foot in the FA Cup tie.
It was no surprised the Sky Blues were the first to add to the scoreline when Anakwe restored their lead to 2-1 ten minutes into the second half.
The goal, however, lasted just two minutes as Beyond Limits responded through superstar, Ogundare, who leveled the scores to 2-2.
13 minutes later, Beyond Limits took the lead for the first time as Kabiru fired the third goal to make it 3-2.
No Limits held on for the famous win that sees them book a space in the last four for the first time ever.
