Pedri took to social media to respond to Toni Kroos's heartfelt apology for injuring him.

Barcelona midfielder Pedri has accepted the apology of Toni Kroos after the Germany international apologised for injuring him, consequently ruling him out of the Euros semi-final against France and a possible final.

Pedri started for Spain in their European Championship quarter-final clash against Germany, but had to be substituted in the 8th minute after he sustained an injury from a Kroos tackle.

Spain eventually won the game, and after the match, the ex-Real Madrid star apologised for his tackle on Pedri.

"Still very important to me: forgiveness and get well soon to Pedri,” Kroos said on Instagram. “It was obviously not my intention to injure you. Swift recovery and all the best. You are a great player."

What Pedri said

"I came to Germany for Euro 2024 and I will continue here until the end. Because the dream, do not doubt it,” Pedri said. "This week it's time to encourage and contribute in another way to this great family that is @sefutbol.
