TRANSFERS Twahir Muhiddin survives Bandari purge
The club is expected to restructure and sign new players in preparation for the 2023/24 season.
On Monday, Pulse Sports reported that the Mombasa-based club was mulling over the idea of firing the entire technical bench, bar Twahir Muhiddin, who is set to be appointed as a permanent head coach. The former Harambee Stars coach has been acting on a temporary basis since March when Anthony Modo Kimani was axed.
Credible reports indicate that Bandari informed the sacked coaches of their fate through a short message on WhatsApp. The new board at the club has been stressing their ambitions of making the club not only a participant but a competitive Premier League side.

In their recent history, Bandari's most outstanding moment was when they won the 2019 FKF Cup and qualified for the CAF Confederation Cup, and advanced to the playoffs before they were eliminated by AC Horoya of Guinea.
In the Premier League, they have failed to put in a determined campaign as they have lagged behind, failing to challenge Gor Mahia and Tusker, who have been intermittent champions since 2012.

The Dockers have been linked with Hassan Beja, who was an outstanding star in the Nzoia Sugar team that produced moments of brilliance last season.
