Caretaker coach Twahir Muhiddin has returned to his position as the club's Technical Director.

Football Kenya Federation Premier League (FKFPL)  side Bandari FC  is currently in a state of anticipation as the club's board takes its time to select the next head coach.

The decision-making process is still underway, leaving Bandari fans eagerly awaiting the announcement that will shape the team's future.

Twahir Muhiddin, who temporarily took charge of the team as the caretaker coach, has now returned to his former role as the club's Technical Director.

In an interview, Muhiddin has refrained from revealing any details about the potential candidates for the coaching position, keeping fans in suspense.

"I thank the players for taking my instructions seriously and giving me an easy time when I was in charge of the team," he said.

Acknowledging the transition back to his previous role, he emphasized that appointing a new head coach lies solely with the club's board.

Muhiddin, an old hand in the game who has handled the team in three different spells, also offered a message to his successors, urging them to uphold the standards that have propelled Bandari FC towards success.

"To the coach who will be taking my role soon, he should come and maintain the standards and sharpen the team further towards glory," he advised, hinting at the fans' high expectations for their beloved club.

During his time as caretaker coach, Muhiddin led Bandari FC to an impressive record, securing six victories and two draws in the eight games played.

The team's final match of the 2022/2023 FKF Premier League season saw them emerge triumphant with a 2-1 victory over Posta Rangers at the Police Sacco Stadium.

As the board deliberates on potential candidates, several names have emerged as possible contenders for the coaching role.

Francis Kimanzi, a highly regarded figure in Kenyan football, has been mentioned as a potential candidate.

Additionally, Francis Babu, currently with Nzoia Sugar, and Patrick Aussems of AFC Leopards are also being considered for the position.

As the anticipation builds among Bandari supporters, the club's management remains committed to conducting a thorough search for the perfect head coach.
