Tanzanian broadcaster Azam TV has entered a short-term deal with the Football Kenya Federation for broadcasting of selected fixtures in the remaining Kenya Premier League season.
The Kenyan league enters matchday 30 this weekend with the highly-billed derby between Nairobi giants Gor Mahia and AFC Leopards on Sunday.
The FA announced the developments through a press release on Saturday afternoon.

According to the FKF CEO Barry Otieno, each of the 18 clubs in the league will be given about shs. 9 million (kshs 300,000) for the remaining part of the season.
Long-term possibility
The short-term deal will help Azam assess the possibility of entering a long-term partnership.
“The federation is grateful for this partnership and wishes to thank Azam for their support and commitment in the commercial development of Kenyan football, this even as both parties continue to engage on the possibility of entering a long-term partnership that is mutually beneficial,” the release further revealed.
Azam sponsored the Uganda Premier League from 2015 to 2018 before departing under unclear circumstances.
