Asisat Oshoala: Agba Baller becomes latest Super Falcons star to link up with Remo Stars

NPFL side Remo Stars continue to link up with Super Falcons superstars, with Asisat Oshoala being the latest the visit the Ikenne side.

Nigeria Professional Football League, NPFL, side Remo Stars have continued their link-up with Nigeria Super Falcons after a time-out with Asisat Oshoala.

Oshoala became the latest 2023 FIFAWWC star to visit Remo at their Ikenne home following a return from the world cup.

The Barcelona Femeni forward was one of the stars as Nigeria reached the round of 16 in New Zealand and Australia.

Super Falcons in Remo

As reported by Pulse Sports, another Super Falcon, Rasheedat Ajibade, spent her time with the Sky Blues.

Rasheedat Ajibade was the first to visit Remo Stars.

Ajibade was the special guest at the Remo Stars Academy, Beyond Limits, on Tuesday.

The girl with the blue hair proved to be a wonderful guest for the youngsters.

Oshoala visits Remo

Just 24 hours after Ajibade’s visit, Barcelona’s Oshoala became the next to spend time with the Ikenne side.

The 28-year-old’s visit was announced by the Sky Blues who took to their social media account to share the news.

“Look who we’ve got here, Agba baller herself,” Remo Stars stated in a post on their official X.com account on Thursday afternoon.

Oshoala’s visit also saw her share moments with club President Kunle Soname, who was excited to welcome the world cup star to his office.

“Our club president, Hon. Kunle Soname OFR on Thursday hosted Super Falcons forward, @AsisatOshoala on a courtesy visit,” Remp added.

Super Falcons and Oshoala had a credible journey at the ninth FIFA Women’s World Cup, with the Barcelona striker making history.

Oshoala played a key role in Nigeria’s run to the round of 16 after a memorable outing and goal against co-hosts Australia in the group stage.

She came off the bench to net a decisive winner as the Falcons shocked the Maltidas en route to a stunning 3-2 win that saw them join the Aussies to qualify from Group B.

The goal against Australia saw Oshoala become the first and only African to score three goals at the FIFAWWC.
