Plumptre at the FIFAWWC for Super Falcons
The defender was one of Nigeria’s best and most reliable legs at the ninth FIFAWWC co-hosted by New Zealand and Australia.
Plumptre featured from start to finish as Nigeria Super Falcons beat the odds to make it to the round of 16.
Nigeria survived a group of death that included co-hosts Australia and Olympic champions Canada.
However, the team would crash out in the round of 16 on penalties after a brilliant performance against the European champions.
Plumptre put in a show against the country of her birth, coming close to scoring against the Lionesses but watched as her excellent strike came off the woodwork.

The beautiful Super Falcons star thanked all those who made it out thereafter in a special video.
