Super Falcons ready to win Revelation Cup
Speaking ahead of Nigeria's first game against hosts Mexico, Plumptre said that the team had no plans of taking things lightly in Leon.
"We prep for every game knowing that we're trying to win, and we'd put our best foot forward, and compete to the best of our abilities to make sure we get the results," the Leicester City defender said.
"I prepare myself in the same way for every game, whether it's club or country. I've looked out for my body because the flight was very long.
"Just did some bits in the gym, and I'm ready to go."
Nigeria to play Mexico on Wednesday
The 1-week competition is expected to serve as part of preparations for the Super Falcons ahead of their 2023 Women's World Cup campaign in July.
Nigeria will on Wednesday, February 15 open their campaign in the Revelation Cup with a tie against Mexico, and then on Saturday, February 18, take on Colombia.
The Super Falcons' final fixture in the Revelation Cup will see them take on Costa Rica, three hours before Mexico and Colombia face off to close the tournament.
Like the Super Falcons, Colombia and Costa Rica will grace the 2023 Women's World Cup.
