Arua Hill Sports Club have embarked on rebuilding their team ahead of 2023/24 with another signing. The club has unveiled free agent John Rogers Okumu on a two-year deal.
Okumu joins Arua Hill after his contract expired with FUFA Big League side and local city rivals Onduparaka FC.
"FREE agent John Okumu Rogers joins us on a 2-year deal. The aggressive Ro is versatile, capable of playing across the backline and either flank," Arua Hill announced.
Okumu made 14 appearances for Onduparaka FC last season in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League as the club suffered relegation to the lower division league.
The versatile defender was part of Onduparaka FC from the 2019/20 season.

Arua Hill Sports Club will host their 2023/24 home games at Kavumba Recreational Grounds located in Wakiso District off Hoima Road.
Arua Hill SC is reportedly set to unveil more signings ahead of the new season.
The club has reportedly wooed several players to rebuild its heavily depleted squad.
Among the players awaiting unveiling include Ssali Musa, a midfielder from Vipers Sports Club. Musa was not registered for the Vipers' historic double-silverware winning season and hopes to rejuvenate his career at Arua Hill SC.

The tournament was held in 2018 and 2019 but was halted in the subsequent years due to the outbreak of COVID-19.
Key players who have left the club include captain Rashid Toha, Innocent Media, Richard Matovu, Rogers Omedwa, Richard Anyama, Isaac Okello, Innocent Maduka, and Bright Joseph Vuni.
