Arua Hill Sports Club have started rebuilding their much-depleted squad ahead of the 2023/24 season.

The Kongolo have witnessed departures of their key players from last season in the ongoing transfer window leaving fans worried.

Key players who have left the club include captain Rashid Toha, Innocent Media, Richard Matovu, Rogers Omedwa, Richard Anyama, Isaac Okello, Innocent Maduka, and Bright Joseph Vuni.

However, a reliable source intimated to Pulse Sports Uganda that the club is working behind closed doors to rebuild their squad.

The West Nile giant is reportedly looking forward to giving opportunities to players in search for playing opportunity amidst the alleged financial constraints at the club.

The club has officially signed Ssali Musa, a midfielder from Vipers Sports Club. Musa was not registered for Vipers historic double-silverware winning season and hopes to rejuvenate his career at Arua Hill SC.

Arua Hill forward Isaac Ogwang celebrates a goal against Express last season.

The midfielder reportedly agreed to a two-year-contract at the club.

Musa is reportedly among the several ‘low-key’ players the club has signed ahead of the new season.

Arua Hill SC is expected to field their new-look team August 4 in the FUFA Super 8 clash against Uganda Revenue Authority Football Club.
