As they aim to beat the extended deadline (Monday) for club licensing ahead of the 2023/24 Uganda Premier League, Arua Hill SC are set to have a change of homes.

Unconfirmed reports have indicated that the Kongolo have requested to host their games at Midigo Primary School Playground.

Midigo Playgrounds currently serves as home to FUFA Big League side Calvary Football Club.

And, apparently, talks between the Grounds' management, Arua Hill and Calvary are ongoing.

Efforts to reach Arua Hill CEO Pius Bamwange for a comment did not yield much as he was; "at FUFA for a meeting."

This comes after Arua Hill's initial home, the Barifa Stadium, is in dire state after vandalism by unknown people and currently doesn't meet UPL's standards.

There have also been reports of the club seeking refuge at the Ababet Greenlight Stadium, home to Onduparaka FC.

Arua is enduring a period of uncertainty in the league after Chairman Joel Jaffer Aita sold 49% of shares to Clayman Global Ventures.

The terms of sale included focusing on producing talents for shipping rather than participating in league competitions.

The club has also lost a number of players, including Richard Matovu, Rashid Toha, Isaac Okello, Bright Joseph Vuni, and Innocent Media, among a host of others.
