Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta plans to discuss the club's position on Video Assistant Referees (VAR) ahead of an upcoming Premier League vote.

The Premier League will hold a vote on June 6 to determine whether the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) system should be scrapped for next season.

Wolves called for a vote citing the system's failures in the 5 years since its been introduced.

VAR has come under scrutiny, particularly this season with several high-profile errors potentially costing teams points, and for some others like Luton and Burnley,a place in the league next season.

“I haven’t been part of those meetings. I want to have a meeting with the club next week and understand where these points are coming across, what happened in the last few weeks to get to this position.

"Then we’ll decide what our position is as a club and see what happens. They will explain to us what has happened, the points that have been discussed and what the general feeling is as well. From there, we’ll make a decision.”
