Arsenal’s Cam’ron dumps Nigeria
According to a report by the Daily Cannon, the highly-rated youngster has linked up with Egypt’s Under-19s in what could be the clearest sign of where his allegiance lies.
Ismail was born to a Nigerian father and an Egyptian mother which means he qualifies for both countries.
The gifted youngster was also born and raised in Islington, making him also eligible to represent England.
Cam’ron, who is a left-back joined the Arsenal under-18 setup last year despite being just only 16. After making his debut early in the season, he has since made progress.
Ismail made a total of six appearances in the under-18 Premier League season and has already matched it in the 2023/24 campaign.
However, it is his international future that had been a subject of discussion which could be settled as soon as possible following his link-up with Egypt.
